The Jewish Museum Rendsburg serves as a cultural meeting place and is one of the few Jewish museums in northern Germany. It provides a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about Jewish history and culture in this region.
The Jewish Museum Rendsburg, the second oldest in Germany, is located in the fully preserved community center of the former Jewish community Rendsburg. Since its opening on November 6, 1988, the museum has been a testament to the rich Jewish history of the area.
The museum houses three permanent exhibitions in the rooms of the synagogue and those of the former Talmud-Tora-School. These exhibitions provide a comprehensive overview of Jewish religion, history, and culture.
