The Astronomical Observatory of Capodimonte is an observatory of the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica of Italy. It is located on the Capodimonte, a hill in Naples. The observatory contains a 40-cm Ritchey-Chretien telescope, a meridian circle, a functioning historical refractor dating from 1864, a museum of astronomical instruments and a planetarium.
