Permanent Exhibition at the Hürten Heimatmuseum
The permanent exhibition at the Hürten Heimatmuseum offers a diverse range of artifacts and exhibits. These include a tavern from the imperial era around 1900, earlier weapons, medieval artworks, a 2019 discovered and restored altar from the 17th century, 2 large chests, a medieval hearth room, the prayer room of a canon with an altar top from around 1700, and documents on city history. These exhibits provide a comprehensive overview of the region's history and culture.
Archaeological Exhibition at the Hürten Heimatmuseum
From April to October, visitors to the Hürten Heimatmuseum can explore the permanent archaeological exhibition. This exhibition showcases artifacts from various historical periods, including the Neolithic, Celtic, Roman and Frankish periods, up to modern times. This provides a fascinating insight into the region's past and its development over the centuries.
