Hagan i Eggedal, located approximately 530 meters above sea level, is a small farm and residential property in Sigdal municipality. Part of the building mass has been converted into a museum and is now part of the Buskerud Museum. This place is known as the artist's home of Christian Skredsvig, who lived and worked there for the most part between 1894 and 1924.

Hagan i Eggedal: A Private Museum in the Artist's Valley

The house of Hagan i Eggedal is still owned by the descendants of Christian Skredsvig and was opened as a private museum in 1993. The museum is open during the summer months and is marketed as part of "Kunstnerdalen" or the Artist's Valley, offering a glimpse into the life and work of the renowned artist.
