Habitation Anse Latouche, located in the communes of Le Carbet and Saint-Pierre in Martinique, is a former colonial plantation that has been transformed into the Martinique Zoo. This historical site offers visitors a unique blend of history and nature, with the opportunity to explore the remnants of the plantation while enjoying the diverse wildlife of the zoo.

Botanical Garden and Zoological Park

In 2014, Habitation Anse Latouche underwent a transformation, being converted into a botanical garden and a zoological park. Today, visitors can enjoy the lush greenery and diverse plant life of the botanical garden, as well as the variety of animals housed in the zoological park.

The Opening of the Martinique Zoo

The Martinique Zoo, located within Habitation Anse Latouche, opened its doors to the public on July 17, 2014. Since then, it has been a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a unique opportunity to observe a variety of animals in a historical setting.
