The H. Lee White Marine Museum, situated in Oswego, New York, was established in 1982. The founder, Rosemary Sinnett Nesbitt, was a local professor and also served as the City of Oswego Historian. This museum is a testament to her dedication to preserving the maritime history of the region.
The museum is the current home of the tugboat Nash, a National Historic Landmark. This vessel is one of the few remaining US Army vessels from the Normandy Landings, making it a significant piece of maritime history.
