The Giovanni and Marella Agnelli Picture Gallery, located in Turin, Italy, offers visitors a compact yet impressive collection of art. Housed atop the Lingotto building, a former Fiat factory, the gallery provides a unique setting for viewing masterpieces. The collection includes works by renowned artists such as Matisse, Picasso, and Canaletto, spanning various periods and styles.

Visitors often appreciate the gallery's manageable size, allowing for a focused and intimate art experience without overwhelming guests. The modern architecture of the "Scrigno" (jewel box) designed by Renzo Piano adds to the appeal, with its innovative use of natural light enhancing the viewing experience.

However, some reviewers note that the collection, while high-quality, is relatively small compared to other major art museums. This might leave some visitors wanting more, especially those expecting a more extensive exhibit. Additionally, the museum's location on the rooftop of the Lingotto complex can be slightly challenging to find for first-time visitors.

The gallery's connection to the Agnelli family, known for their association with Fiat and their significant role in Italian industry, adds an interesting historical context to the visit. This aspect is often appreciated by those interested in the intersection of art and Italian cultural history.

Overall, the Giovanni and Marella Agnelli Picture Gallery offers a curated art experience in a unique setting, best suited for those who enjoy focused collections and are interested in seeing some notable works in an architecturally significant space.

The Agnelli Collection is a small art museum in a huge indoor shopping mall in the Lingotto District of Turin, close to the Lingotto Metro Station. At the Agnelli Collection,I saw fine Old Master 18th Century Italian Paintings by Bernardo Bellotto(fine cityscapes of Dresden,Germany),Canaletto, and Giovanni Batista Tiepolo("Halberdier in Landscape",a favorite of mine by this artist). I also relished its wonderful 19th and 20th Century Paintings by Pierre Renoir("Blonde Bather"),Edouard Manet("Negress"),Pablo Picasso("Courtesan",Blue Period),Amadeo Modigliani("Reclining Nude")Gino Severini, and Henri Matisse("Woman Meditating").Its paintings by Henri Matisse is the specialty of this small art museum. Even though, this art museum is quite small,it was a worthwhile experience.
