The Giardino Botanico "Maria Ansaldi" Pania di Corfino is a botanical garden situated at the foot of the Pania di Corfino in the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park. The garden is at an altitude of 1370m and is easily reachable by foot or car from the Isera Orecchiella refuge below.
The Giardino Botanico "Maria Ansaldi" Pania di Corfino is dedicated to the collection and preservation of the flora of the Lucchese Apennines, Garfagnana, and the Apuan Alps. In 1989, the Giardino Botanico "Maria Ansaldi" Pania di Corfino, in collaboration with the University of Pisa, initiated a guided tour service.
