The National Garborg Centre, often referred to as Garborgsenteret, is a museum dedicated to the life and works of the writer Arne Garborg. It was opened on September 5, 2012, and is located in Bryne, in the Time municipality where Garborg spent his childhood and youth. The centre is a part of the Jærmuseet.

Mission of the Garborg Centre

The Garborg Centre serves as a national platform to foster interest in Arne and Hulda Garborg, their ideas and visions. Its mission is to inspire social engagement, reading, and creativity. It stands as a vibrant centre for democracy, knowledge, and creative power.
