In 1930, a local doctor named Richard Wetherill constructed a replica of Fort Ouiatenon. This replica, although not an exact match to the original fort's construction style, is now the central point of a county park. The original site of Fort Ouiatenon, located about a mile from the replica site, was discovered and confirmed through archaeological excavations in the 1960s.
Since 1967, the "Feast of the Hunters' Moon" festival has been held in the fall. This festival retraces and revives the main historical events of Fort Ouiatenon. Artifacts from the original fort site are displayed during the festival by the Tippecanoe County Historical Association.
The Fort Ouiatenon Blockhouse Museum is open to tourists during the summer. It offers a chance to learn more about the history of the fort and the area, with various artifacts on display.
