Fort Foster, a historic site in central Florida, is a fort from the Second Seminole War era. It was originally built in December 1836 and is located 9 miles south of the modern-day city of Zephyrhills in Pasco County. The state reconstructed Fort Foster on its original site and opened it to the public in February 1980.
