Fondazione Camillo Cavour Santena

The Castle's English Garden

Adjacent to the castle is a large garden, spanning 23 hectares. This garden was commissioned by Marquis Michele Benso di Cavour in the early 19th century and designed by Xavier Kurten. Reopening of the Cavour Memorial

The Cavour Memorial, a museum dedicated to the Piedmontese statesman, reopened on March 17, 2021, marking the 160th anniversary of the Unification of Italy. The museum had been closed for a significant period for restoration work. Now, visitors can once again explore the museum and learn about the life and contributions of this important figure in Italian history.
