Florida Sports Hall of Fame and its collection

The Florida Sports Hall of Fame (FSHOF) is an association that pays tribute to athletes, coaches, and other non-athletes who have made significant contributions to sports in Florida. This institution serves as a testament to the rich sports history of the state, showcasing the achievements of its honorees and inspiring visitors with their stories of success.

The New Home of the FSHOF

The Lake Myrtle Sports Complex, which started construction in Auburndale, Florida in August 2008, provided a new home for the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. The facility reopened on June 22, 2010, and inducted four new members: Catie Ball-Condon, Jack Hairston, Pat Borders, and Hubert Green. This information is significant as it marks a new chapter in the history of the FSHOF and its commitment to honoring Florida's sports figures.
