The Felsenkeller Brewery Museum has a rich history dating back to 1847 when beer brewer Wilhelm Braun purchased the "Grüneburg" at the "Röetgen". He expanded the existing brewery by adding a dining room and an open bowling alley, enhancing the visitor experience.
In 1997, the brewery underwent a significant transformation and became the first brewery museum in the Eifel region. It offered both indoor and outdoor gastronomy, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the history of brewing while enjoying local cuisine.
Unfortunately, as of February 24, 2019, the Felsenkeller Brewery Museum and the attached brewery were permanently closed. This was due to the lack of a successor to continue the operations. Despite this, the museum's rich history and its contribution to the local brewing industry remain significant.
