In 2019, the Fahrzeugmuseum Frankenberg on Mühlbacher Straße in Frankenberg was closed. However, the majority of the exhibits were preserved and transferred to a new museum called Zeitwerkstadt. This move ensured that the rich history and the valuable exhibits of the Fahrzeugmuseum Frankenberg continue to be accessible to the public.

New Home for Fahrzeugmuseum Frankenberg Exhibits

Since July 15, 2021, visitors can view exhibits from the former Fahrzeugmuseum Frankenberg at the Zeitwerkstadt adventure museum. The exhibits are housed in the former flower hall of the 8th Saxon State Horticultural Show, providing a unique setting for these historical pieces.
