The Eastbourne Heritage Centre offers visitors a glimpse into the history of Eastbourne and its surrounding areas. Located in a converted church, the museum houses a collection of artifacts, photographs, and displays that chronicle the town's development from a small fishing village to a popular seaside resort.

Visitors generally appreciate the informative exhibits that cover various aspects of Eastbourne's past, including its geological history, Roman and Anglo-Saxon settlements, and Victorian era expansion. The museum's volunteers are often praised for their knowledge and enthusiasm, providing additional context to the displays.

However, some visitors find the museum relatively small and feel that the exhibits could benefit from modernization. The layout and presentation of information may not appeal to all, particularly younger audiences who might prefer more interactive elements.

While the Heritage Centre offers a solid overview of Eastbourne's history, it may not provide enough depth for history enthusiasts. That said, for those interested in local history and looking for a brief introduction to Eastbourne's past, the museum serves its purpose well.

Accessibility might be an issue for some visitors, as the building is old and may not be fully adapted for people with mobility challenges. The opening hours are also limited, which can be inconvenient for some tourists.

Overall, the Eastbourne Heritage Centre provides a decent, if somewhat basic, look at the town's history. It's a good starting point for those wanting to learn about Eastbourne's heritage, but may not offer enough to warrant a long visit for all tourists.

Poorly curator exhibits, tacky models falling to bits. Dark and dingy basement and attic, something out of a horror movie! Along with the creepy staff. Avoid!!
