Dunsinkk observatory is located on a hill just west of Finglas, near Dunsink Lane. From time to time Dunsink Observatory holds a special evening for parents and children who want to learn more about astronomy and space. Dunsink Observatory was converted into a museum in 2005. This is one of the oldest buildings in Ireland. Weather permitting, visitors can view celestial objects through the historic Grubb Telescope. They can also attend audio-visual presentations and lectures.
