The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center is a multipurpose hall located in Tallahassee, Florida. It is named after Donald L. Tucker, a former Speaker of the Florida House and US Ambassador to the Dominican Republic. The center is a significant venue in the city, hosting a variety of events and activities.
In October 1998, the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center underwent significant renovations. These included the addition of 34 luxury suites and 468 club seats, a restaurant named Spotlight Grille with 450 seats overlooking the arena, and a video cube with four large screens suspended in the middle of the hall.
The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center is home to the Florida State Seminoles men's and women's basketball teams. In addition to sports, the center also hosts a variety of events such as concerts, conventions, ice shows, fairs, rodeos, circus performances, and monster truck races.
