Die Hundsmarktmühle is a historical mill from the 16th century, located in the Salzburg municipality of Thalgau, near Fuschlsee. This mill has been converted into a museum and is a listed monument, making it a significant part of the region's cultural heritage.
In 1989, the mill was purchased by the market town, restored, and opened as a museum in 1994. The museum showcases numerous objects under the theme 'From grain to bread'. Visitors can see a water-powered millstone, a grinding process with a roller mill, various mill equipment and machines, different types of grain and grain products, a bakery, and a wood-fired oven.
