Compton Verney House is an 18th-century country mansion located near Kineton in Warwickshire, England. It is situated on the west side of a lake, north of the B4086, about 12 miles northwest of Banbury. The mansion is a Grade I listed house built in 1714 and has been extensively extended and remodelled over the centuries. Today, it is the site of the Compton Verney Art Gallery.
Compton Verney House is set in more than 120 acres of parkland, which was landscaped by the renowned English gardener Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in 1769. The parkland provides a beautiful setting for the mansion and offers visitors a chance to enjoy the outdoors while exploring the art collections inside the gallery.
