The Church of São João de Alporão is situated in Marvila, within the city of Santarém, Portugal. It is nestled next to the Torre das Cabaças, in the heart of the city's historical center, making it one of the city's most emblematic monuments. This church is a prime example of Romanesque art in the region south of Beiras and dates back to the 12th century. It was founded by the Order of the Hospitallers and is currently home to the archaeology section of the Municipal Museum of Santarém.
The church is home to several sepulchral slabs and mausoleums. Notably, it houses the tomb of D. Duarte de Menezes, which originated from the Convent of São Francisco. The church also contains the tombs of João and Martim de Ocem, which came from the now non-existent Convent of São Domingos. These tombs date back to the first half of the 15th century.
