  • Apollo's Insights AI-Generated

The Cenacolo di Fuligno in Florence, Italy, is a small but noteworthy museum that houses a significant fresco of the Last Supper by Pietro Perugino. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to view this important Renaissance artwork without the crowds often found at more popular Florentine attractions. The fresco is well-preserved and showcases Perugino's skill in composition and color. Some visitors note that the museum's opening hours can be limited, so it's advisable to check in advance. While the site is primarily focused on this single masterpiece, art enthusiasts find it a worthwhile stop on their tour of Florence's artistic heritage. The staff is generally described as helpful, though some visitors mention that more detailed information about the artwork and its history would enhance the experience. Overall, the Cenacolo di Fuligno offers a quick but enriching visit for those interested in Renaissance art and looking to explore beyond Florence's more famous museums.
