The Carnegie Library is a one-story brick structure, designed in the Classical Revival style. The interior of the building is adorned with wood paneling, intricate plaster moldings and trim, mosaic tile floors, and a large stained glass skylight. These architectural features contribute to the unique aesthetic appeal of the building.
The Carnegie Library served as a library until 1976, after which it became the Carnegie Art Center of the Tonawandas' Council on the Arts. In 1995, it was recognized for its historical significance and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
