Bungay Museum and its collection

The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is home to an impressive collection of over 60 complete or partial aircraft. This includes rare pieces such as the only complete de Havilland Sea Vixen FAW.1 in private ownership, a flyable replica of the Colditz Cock escape glider, a Vickers Valetta VX580 C.2, and an FMA IA 58 Pucará that was captured by British forces during the Falklands War. These unique exhibits provide a fascinating glimpse into the history and technology of aviation.

Admission and Funding of the Museum

The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is open to the public free of charge. It operates entirely on public donations, corporate sponsorship, and grants from local and European governments. This makes it an accessible and affordable destination for tourists, allowing everyone to enjoy and learn from its extensive collection of aircraft and aviation-related artefacts.
