The Brückenhofmuseum is a local history museum situated in Oberdollendorf, a district of the city of Königswinter in the Rhein-Sieg district of North Rhine-Westphalia. The museum began its operation in 1991 in the former winery "Brückenhof" (Bachstraße 93), a half-timbered house dating back to the 17th century. This location offers a unique historical setting for the museum's exhibits.
The Brückenhofmuseum is typically open to the public on the first and second Sunday of each month from 2 pm to 5 pm. This schedule allows visitors to plan their visit accordingly and ensure they have ample time to explore the museum's exhibits.
The Brückenhofmuseum's permanent exhibition offers a diverse range of displays. These include a presentation on the Heisterbacher Talbahn with the "Model Weilberg", collections related to the stonemason, quarry, and carpentry trades, and exhibits on the rocks of the Siebengebirge. Additionally, visitors can explore a shoemaker's workshop, a historical kitchen, a demonstration framework, and a collection of more than 300 old and new group photos.
