The Chocolate Museum Vienna offers an informative experience for chocolate enthusiasts. Visitors can learn about the history and production process of chocolate through various exhibits and displays. The museum provides opportunities for chocolate tasting, which many guests find enjoyable. Some visitors appreciate the interactive elements and the chance to create their own chocolate bar. However, opinions on the overall value for money are mixed, with some feeling the admission price is a bit high for the content provided. The museum is relatively small, which can be a drawback for those expecting a more extensive experience. While generally enjoyable, especially for families with children, some adults may find the depth of information limited. The gift shop offers a good selection of chocolates, but prices can be on the higher side. Overall, the Chocolate Museum Vienna provides a sweet, albeit brief, diversion for those interested in chocolate, but may not be a top priority for all visitors to Vienna.

We went with our kids (5 & 7) and were part of a group of 10. This seems to be a new venue and it's well set up with a shop, kitchen area and lockers to store positions on the ground floor and the museum part downstairs. The workshop was held in English and the staff were all very helpful and attentive. It was a good session, informative without being too long or boring for the kids. We all really enjoyed making the chocolate and learning about where it came from and what goes into different types of chocolate. The 'museum' part downstairs is interesting with firm focus on fun rather than in depth leaving so I think it's well pitched as a result. All in all definitely worth a visit!
