One of the highlights frequently mentioned by visitors is the working roundhouse, where visitors can see maintenance work being carried out on the locomotives. This adds a dynamic aspect to the museum experience, giving insight into the practical side of railway operations.

However, some visitors note that the information provided could be more comprehensive, especially for international tourists, as many displays are primarily in German. Additionally, while the outdoor setting adds to the authenticity, it also means that the experience can be weather-dependent.
