The Grove, also known as the Blount-Bridgers House, is a historic home situated in Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. This two-story, five-bay, Federal style frame dwelling was built around 1808. It features a gable roof and pairs of double-shouldered brick end chimneys. The house was once the residence of Thomas Blount, an American Revolutionary War veteran and statesman.
The Blount-Bridgers House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, highlighting its historical significance. It is located in the Tarboro Historic District, a region known for its rich history and preserved architectural structures.
