    I need to express my extreme disappointment in regards to their anti law enforcement policy. I am a fully trained, honorably retired police supervisor with over 25 years of service. On Tuesday September 23, 2025, I was denied entry to the house and grounds because I was armed. I was told to return and leave it in my car. That is the most irresponsible and worst possible thing I could do with my weapon, not to mention the impracticality of the situation. After the 9/11 terrorist attack, President Busch signed into effect HR218, also known as the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA). This federal law allows law enforcement officers to be armed, concealed, anywhere in the country. Yes, there are exceptions, but we are all educated and informed of same. Their refusal caught me completely off guard, and I must say, was the first time I was ever treated in such a way since having begun my career years ago. It was embarrassing, and caused my party to continue without me; I had no recourse but to sit and wait for them outside the home. Needless to say, my entry fee was also a waste of money. I am allowed, almost mandated after the attacks, by federal law to be armed and concealed. I am fully compliant with all the requirements of the law. Their position is about as anti law enforcement as can be. Needless to say, I have no plans to ever return, and I will certainly advise my fellow LE officers of their anti police stance.
