Big Cat Rescue in Citrus Park, United States, is a wildlife sanctuary focusing on big cats. Visitors generally appreciate the organization's mission to rescue and care for exotic cats, but experiences can vary. The sanctuary offers guided tours where guests can observe various species of big cats, including tigers, lions, and leopards, in their enclosures. Many reviewers praise the knowledgeable and passionate staff who provide information about the animals' backgrounds and the issues surrounding exotic pet ownership. The large, natural habitats for the animals are often noted as a positive aspect. However, some visitors find the tour prices high and the visibility of animals sometimes limited due to the sanctuary's no-contact, hands-off approach. The educational component is strong, but those expecting a zoo-like experience might be disappointed. While many appreciate the ethical treatment of the animals, others have expressed concerns about the size of some enclosures. The sanctuary's focus on education and conservation is generally well-received, but the overall experience can be hit-or-miss depending on individual expectations.
