Its perfectly formed round design with its three turrets, makes this castle unique in Spain. The Bellver Castle was commissioned in 1300 by James II of Aragon. Bellver Castle, located in Palma, Spain, is a well-preserved 14th-century circular castle that offers visitors a blend of history and panoramic views. The castle's unique round shape and Gothic architecture make it stand out among other fortresses. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds and the opportunity to explore the various levels of the castle, including the central courtyard, chapel, and towers.

The museum within the castle provides insights into Mallorca's history, featuring artifacts from different periods. While some visitors find the exhibits informative, others mention that more detailed explanations in multiple languages would enhance the experience.

One of the main highlights is the stunning view of Palma and the Mediterranean Sea from the castle's terraces. Many visitors recommend timing their visit for sunset to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

The castle is easily accessible by public transport or car, with ample parking available. However, some visitors note that the uphill walk to the entrance can be challenging for those with mobility issues.

On the downside, a few visitors mention that the interior of the castle can feel somewhat empty, and they would appreciate more interactive displays or guided tours to bring the history to life.

Overall, Bellver Castle is regarded as a worthwhile attraction in Palma, offering a mix of historical significance and scenic beauty. While it may not have extensive museum exhibits, its architectural uniqueness and panoramic views make it a popular destination for tourists visiting the area.
