The Albrecht Dürer's House (Albrecht-Dürer-Haus) is a Nuremberg Fachwerkhaus and the home of painter, printmaker, and theorist of the German Renaissance Albrecht Dürer from 1509 to his death in 1528. The house was built around 1420 and has five stories functioning as a museum dedicated to Dürer's life and work. The museum features installations of period furnishings, a re-creation of Dürer's workshop with demonstrations of printmaking techniques, and rotating exhibitions of drawings and prints by Dürer from the City of Nuremberg's Graphic Collection. Guided tours are available of the house from an actress playing the wife of Dürer.

Albrecht Dürer's House in Nuremberg, Germany, offers visitors a glimpse into the life and work of the renowned Renaissance artist. The well-preserved 15th-century house showcases Dürer's living quarters and workshop, providing an authentic atmosphere that transports visitors back in time. The museum features reproductions of Dürer's famous artworks, as well as period furniture and tools, giving insight into the artist's techniques and daily life.
Many visitors appreciate the audio guide, which is available in multiple languages and provides detailed information about Dürer and his era. The museum's layout allows for a self-guided tour through various rooms, each offering a different aspect of the artist's life and work.
While the museum is generally well-received, some visitors note that it can get crowded during peak times, which may detract from the experience. Additionally, a few reviewers mention that the lack of original artworks might be disappointing for some, although this is understandable given the value and fragility of Dürer's original pieces.
The costumed guides who sometimes provide demonstrations of printing techniques are often highlighted as a particularly engaging aspect of the visit. However, these demonstrations are not always available, which can be a letdown for some visitors.
The gift shop offers a variety of Dürer-related merchandise, which many find appealing, though some consider it overpriced.
