Operational Hammer Mill at Ahe-Hammer

The Ahe-Hammer building houses a fully operational, completely preserved hammer mill. This mill was used for the production of Osemunde iron, a significant part of the region's industrial history. Visitors can witness the mill in operation, providing a unique insight into the historical manufacturing processes.

Visiting the Ahe-Hammer

After undergoing extensive renovation measures in 2014 and 2015, the Ahe-Hammer has been regularly open for viewing since the spring/summer of 2016. This allows visitors to explore the historical site and gain a deeper understanding of the region's industrial past.
