Adaland Mansion, also known as the Modisett Mansion, is a historic house situated in Berryburg, Barbour County, West Virginia. This Greek Revival style brick house was built in 1868 and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills, farms, mines, and gardens. In 1996, the Adaland Mansion and its surrounding properties were donated to the City of Philippi, West Virginia by a nearby coal company. The mansion is now maintained by a private non-profit organization and is open for various activities. Visitors can enjoy tours, teas, weddings, luncheons, dinner theaters, and other occasions at this historic site.
