The Abdülmecid Efendi Köşkü is a historic mansion nestled in the Bağlarbaşı Grove in Kuzguncuk. This mansion was once the summer residence of Prince Abdülmecid Efendi, a known art enthusiast. His love for the arts transformed this mansion into a cultural hub, attracting artists, writers, and politicians of the period.
The three-story mansion, which has stood the test of time, is currently used as a social facility by the Koç Group. One of the mansion's notable features is its monumental entrance gate, adorned with tile panels on the garden wall. The gate bears an inscription in Kufic script, stating "There is no victor but Allah".
The interior of the mansion is a sight to behold, with its tiles adorning the walls and floors, fountains, and a fireplace. It also features a wall painting by Avni Lifij, a large hall with a marble pool, and stained glass windows on the upper floor, all contributing to its unique charm.
