Exhibition 'The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) in the First World War' in Low Parks Museum
Sunday 11th November 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, bringing four years of bloody war to an end. This exhibition uses photographs from the regimental collections of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) to showcase just a small part of the regiment’s contribution in the First World War. No exhibition could ever do full justice to the countless deeds of bravery and sacrifices of those who served, but it is hoped this small display will help highlight the part played by Lanarkshire’s local infantry regiment – The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles).
