Exhibition 'Roy Sparkes: Past & Present' in Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Art Gallery
This exhibition of Roy’s works from the past and present include dynamic interpretations of landscape, sea and coastline.
Paintings by this local artist have been widely exhibited in this country and abroad. They can be found in both private and public collections as well as in many international publications.
His use of marks on the surface of the canvas and paper present physical traces of experiences lived and are not merely representations.
