The exhibition ‘Lone Wolf of the Skies- The Life of Albert Ball VC, DSO & Two Bars, MC remembers the life of Captain Albert Ball. Aged just 20 years old when he was killed, Captain Albert Ball VC was one of Nottingham’s most decorated servicemen and flying ace of the First World War. Albert joined The Sherwood Foresters when war broke out in 1914 and this exhibition explores his life and the legacy which he left behind.
