Exhibition ''Her Ladyship': The Life of Lady Isabella Battie-Wrightson' in Cusworth Hall Museum and Park
The exhibition brings together a fascinating selection of items owned by Lady Isabella from the collections of Doncaster Museums Service, Doncaster Archives and private loans, several of which have not been on public display before.
The exhibition will take place in the New Dining Room, which was added to the Hall by Lady Isabella herself in 1907, and will tell the story of her country house life in the upper echelons of society through to her resolute and independent widowhood in Edwardian Doncaster.
Highlights of the exhibition include costume worn by Lady Isabella, previously unseen photographs of her, and a specially commissioned portrait of her as a young woman.
