Exhibition 'For The Fallen - Now That The War Is Over' in King's Own Royal Regiment Museum
An exhibition which looks at the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment in the First World War and including a Victoria Cross never previously on public display; and the Armistice both overseas and in Lancaster. Displays also look at the Khaki Election; the Influenza epidemic; war memorials; peace celebrations; poets including The King's Own's Isaac Rosenberg and Lancaster born Laurence Binyon who wrote, in September 1914, the poem 'For the Fallen' a manuscript copy of which is on display in the exhibition.
