Enter a world of brilliant, live butterflies! Experience the beauty of nature up close as these delicate creatures soar freely. This tropical paradise welcomes dozens of new pupae from Costa Rica and the Philippines every week. Watch the amazing transformation of diverse species into majestic butterflies, including the stunning blue morpho, vibrant swallowtails and the iconic monarch, among others!

* Plan on spending about 15 minutes in this exhibition
* It is warm and humid in the exhibition. You may store your coat or other items at the coat check
* No outside food permitted and no feeding the butterflies
* Over 20 species of butterflies live in the exhibition. Seeing them all is not guaranteed
* Colorful clothing attracts butterflies and may increase your chances of one landing on you
* Although butterflies may land on you, but please do not touch them with your hands
* Learn more from museum science interpreters on-site every day
