Exhibition 'Antarctica: Life in a hostile land' in Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery
The exhibition gives you the opportunity to explore the changes in human relationships with Antarctica and its inhabitants from the early 1900s, right up to the important scientific research conducted there today.
From a 360° virtual reality tour of the UK’s Halley VI research station to inspiring photos by Ben Osborne, and original Antarctic video footage to equipment and memento’s Shropshire Antarctic veterans and Sir Ernest Shackleton himself, this exhibition gives you a must see full Antarctic experience.
The exhibition has something for people of all ages and offers a great day out for the family.
